Lapland Arctic Survival

31st January - 7th February 2010

Much of Lapland is wilderness, where the Sami people pasture their reindeer herds. We wrap up warm in thermals and with the help of some feisty, excitable huskies we explore this incredible land. To drive our own sled is a unique experience and our dogs are more than happy to pull us over frozen lakes, through forests and with luck under the great northern lights. With a night spent huddled around a fire in a wilderness cabin, a second day of 'mushing' and a farewell party to end it all, this is a great taste of life in Lapland.
